About
Rescues Helping Rescues is a group dedicated to helping other rescue groups and organizations in a variety of ways. We hope to form a bond between all groups so that everyone can share resources, food, ideas or anything helpful to reach our common goal of helping animals.
Our focus is on putting aside what divides us to work together for the betterment of God's creatures.
Our intention is not to take away resources from existing organizations, but rather supplement the efforts to help more animals in need.

We are interested in partnering with local groups that have a positive vision to focus on keeping animals from being surrendered to animal shelters and rescues. The perfect place for all animals is to be in a loving home.
Our main goal is to create a central clearing house for trading items or sharing information between rescue or shelter groups. Once we are established, we hope to share our fundraising proceeds with like minded organizations as needed.
Often, one shelter or rescue group may receive donations that they don't need. Like certain brands of food, litter or toys. Now, instead of it going to waste, it can be shared with another group who may need it.
Groups can request needed items from the public via our Facebook page or the public forum on this web-site. Or, individuals can post too. For example if someone is buying new linens for their house (blankets, sheets, towels) they can donate their used items to whichever group may need them at that time.
The site can also be used for sharing adoption needs. An example would be if a client would be looking for a certain breed or age of dog that their own shelter does not have. Another shelter or rescue may indeed have what the client is looking for.
Sharing events and fundraising programs can be shared between each other for more exposure.
Ideas, suggestions or programs can be shared among the various groups to help adopt out as many animals as possible.
Although all groups have their own set of rules, programs and by-laws, we all have the same common goal of helping homeless animals. Our hope is that this new group can facilitate cooperation between us all.
